Statement
I am predominantly a fiber artist who began at an early age to make and design my own clothing. I earned a degree from University of Alberta with a specialty in Textiles. For decades, I taught textile arts to students ranging in age from 11 to 60+ from the public school system through to university level. Throughout the years, my practice and knowledge of textiles cover a broad spectrum of techniques working from raw fibers to finished garments and decor. I continue to develop as an artist by transferring my textile design skills to 2D art pieces.
